No! You can go to PT without a prescription. NC is a direct access state, which means you can see your PT without going to another provider first!
-
The short answer is YES. Medicare requires a signed plan of care by your MD, PA, or other health care provider. Once we see you for the initial evaluation, we fax over the plan of care for your MD or PA to sign. That’s it!
-
The plan of care states:
1. PT diagnosis
2. Long term goals for strength, ROM, pain, and functional activities
3. The type, quantity, duration, and frequency of therapy services (what you will be doing in PT to get better, e.g. manual therapy, balance, strengthening, etc)

Yes! Medicare covers PT services!

Many doctors “push” in-house physical therapy; however, YOU can choose to see whichever therapist YOU want to see.

-
Yes! For almost every condition we treat, we are able to provide the SAME care at home as in the office. We bring everything to you to do both manual therapy and strengthening.
-
The biggest advantage (besides being in the comfort of your own home) is that you are treated in your own unique environment. This allows us to make sure your home is safe for you with regard to your injury or ailment. We can alter therapy to improve your abilities to walk, transfer from place to place and climb stairs using the furniture and stairs you use every day!
-
We ALWAYS do 1 on 1 care. You will be with your PT for 45-60 minutes for each treatment! We NEVER hand you off to an aide or any unlicensed person.
We also are very unique in that our patients have access to us, including after hours, by text, phone, or email.
-
We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Medicare. We also do Medicare Advantage plans that are PPO and POS. Please call us if you have questions about insurance.
-
Yes, we have a 50% discount for non-insured patients. People who have high deductible plans may also benefit from this rate.

We normally can get you in to see us the same week you contact us. For urgent issues, we may be able to get you in the same day or the next day.
